Hello, my name is Kelman! I am an electrical engineer, instrument maker, and audio prototyper whose work focuses on the intersections of sound and technology. I am also an electronic musician and sound engineer and I often find that the art I make influences the tech as much as the tech I make influences the art.

Having obtained degrees in Electrical Engineering and Performing Arts Technology from University of Michigan, I’m broadly interested in combining these disciplines, though I am also eager to grow and expand as I continue to learn. Areas of interest include: digital signal processing, audio coding, interface prototyping, embedded systems, working with microcontrollers, instrument design, and music production. Currently, I’m based in Ann Arbor where I do live sound work at Kerrytown Concert House, help out with coding at Oddment Audio, and slowly chip away at my super-secret mystery creations.
